The Bombardier Global Express XRS was created to accommodate the needs of the most sophisticated travelers. Uncompromising throughout, from the superiority of its leading edge flight deck environment, to the sheer tranquility of its aft stateroom, the Bombardier Global Express XRS is the ultimate all-around performance business jet.
It has a capacity of 13 passenger and a 2 pilot cabin. Its maximum speed is 950km/h and it climbs to an altitude of 14,935m (49,000 feet). Bombardier improved its already successful Global Express when it introduced the upgraded XRS in 2003.
The Global Express XRS bears all of the qualities of its ultra-long-range older sibling, but with greater range and a modified design. With significant improvements, it’s no surprise that the XRS replaced the original Express in 2005. The XRS was designed to travel at high speeds and altitudes. They improved the wings by sweeping them back 35 degrees. Also, the four sections of aluminum slats make this aircraft able to take off and land at lower speeds.
